Martin Luther Film in Bay Area Theaters, September 19 & 21

As part of our special celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, Gloria Dei is partnering with our sister congregations Apostles (San Jose) and Peace (Santa Clara) to host two screenings of a brand new Martin Luther film in our local theaters.

This new film follows the great adventure of Luther’s life, packed with political intrigue, kidnappings, secret hideouts, and life-or-death showdowns. At the same time, it's a story about the most important questions of life. Who am I? What is my purpose? How do I get right with God? You can view the trailer here:

The screenings for the movie will be held as an evening showing in Redwood City and an afternoon showing in San Jose in mid-September. You can click on the following links to purchase tickets:

Tuesday, September 19, 7:30pm (Cinemark Redwood Downtown 20, Redwood City)
Thursday, September 21, 1:30pm (Century 20 Oakridge, San Jose)

While we are excited to host these screenings, they can only happen with a minimum threshold of tickets sold (94 for each theater), so consider buying a few extra to give to others who might be interested. This special event is open to all members and friends of our congregations and anyone else interesting in coming. If you will be coming, invite your friends and neighbors to come with!

If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Shrimpton.
