Gloria Dei is located about a half-hour's drive south of San Francisco. The church was founded in 1963 and built its church building in 1965. In 1970 Gloria Dei opened the doors to its school, and in 1978 the current school building was completed. Our name, "Gloria Dei," is a Latin phrase that means "The glory of God." We are affliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
